Unprotected s3x is actually one of the fastest growing health risks for teens across the world, according to a recent report. It is a risky teen behaviour that can lead to unwanted pregnancy and s3xually transmitted diseases.

Asking questions about s3xual topics may feel awkward and embarrassing, it may also be an uncomfortable thing to talk about, but if you are s3xually active or considering having s3x, it is important to know what is safe s3x  and what is unprotected s3x.
Get the facts from someone who knows, whether it is a parent, a teacher, a sister, or a doctor.  Here are few facts to stay safe: Here are few other ways to stay safe:

Abstain from s3x. Not having va ginal, an al, or oral s3x is the surest way to be safe from unwanted pregnancy and s3xual transmission diseases (STDs). If you do decide to have s3x, get tested. Be sure you know yours and your partner’s status.

Use condoms. Use them correctly and every time you have s3x to help lower your risk of getting any infection.
Find a birth control method that is right for you. Try different methods until you find one that works best for your body and your lifestyle.

Know that other types of birth control will not protect you from HIV. Other methods of birth control, like birth control pills, shots, implants, or diaphragms, will not protect you from HIV. If you use one of these, be sure to also use a condom.

Note: Don’t abuse alcohol or drugs, which are linked to s3xual risk-taking. Drinking too much alcohol or using drugs also puts you at risk of s3xual assault.

The lack of knowledge can harm you, or even kill you. Be safe.
